I bought my FIPK last night off a link from the forum main page gofastdepot.com and paid $236 with shipping....so check it out.

ALSO, does the FIPK come with a new intake gasket?? I was checking mine today for the first time, and the gasket just crumbled, so right now there isnt a gsket where the airbox sits on the intake. How bad is this for me to be driving like that until I get my FIPK in a few days????

I'm just wondering why do you guys like this thing so much with all the problems it has with the plastic cracking? Thats the main reason I haven't bought one. I can get them through a family member that works at a store that sells them pretty cheap with a family discount well not cheap but cheaper but I decided not to because it was still expensive for something that seems like a bad design as lots of people have had problems with the plastic cracking.

Man whats up with that big rambling post. I got one of these and Im here to tell you I have more top end power. When I slam my foot to the floor I am now flowing more air into the throttlebody. Yes I agree its not a 100 hp boost but IT DOES WORK!!!!

In the picture below you can see the size of the old airbox outlet and the size of the new. If you look carefully you can see how restrictive the old air box is. The K&N flows much easier.
