To fit them with no rubbing I think its a 5" kit. But this is always an arguement around here

yea it all depends for some stupid reason, i have 35's and 5in and there tons off room. ive also heard that you can fit them with a 3in lift or even with no lift or just 2in spacers. it all depends on the truck and if the tires are true to size or not.

ok heres the think. the sports dont really have a lift. only the offroad package has a 2in lift and if you had the offroad package getting a 3 in lift is pointless because it wouldnt do anything unless its spacers. because if its coils, you get 3 in with a reg. ram. the offroad ram would only get 1 more inch lift.

regular dodge rams are kindof low.. dodge ram 4x4's have about a 2 inch lift on it.. atleast mine has blocks in the back.. making it sit higher then regular dodges.. then theres the offroad editions with another 2 inches on top of that.. i know because i got a 3 inch lift on mine and sit alittle higher then the offroads.. but anyway.. i have a 3 inch on my ram 4x4 and it says it can clear 35's easy.. 5 inch will clear 37's

I have the OFF ROAD package. I have 315 70 17 tires on my truck, with no lift. There is very little rubbing. The front wheel well needed a little triming. I had to take off the front bottom two inches of plastic. Note the off road comes with a 2 inch lift. I not sure but I think one more inch would have been prefect. I'm poor so I'll have to live with the little rubbing. Good luck.

315's are very close to 35 inch tires.. probally 34 1/2.. and around 12- 12 1/2 inches wide

I have a 97 1500 Sport. Put 33" X 12.5 Dunlops on with a 10 inch wheel which kicked them out some and rubbed in parking lot turns or slight turns with a dip/bump. Put a Rancho 3" lift which was closer to 2-1/2", and all was good.

Next set of tires are 35" M/T with an added 3" body lift. Turn the wheels hard and they miss the wheel well edges by about 1 to 1-1/2" Any more tire and a bump would probably push it on the edges of the wheel well.

5-1/2" and 35's work well.
