heater?

Try flushing the heater core itself. They can clog and restrict your coolant flow. Just flushing and refilling your radiator won't necessarilly clear out the heater core passages. I removed both the intake and outlet hoses off the core and ran a garden hose thru it and it cleared my clog. I was getting warm air on low and cooler when I turned it up. Once I flushed it I had no problems at all.

Yeah flushing the rad and engine does just that, the rad and engine. You have to flush the heater core seperatially.

i had the cor flushed and backwashed with the BG fluids kit (work at a place that has it) how would i find out if my controls are just junked?

where are all of the blend air doors, and how many are there. i have a 98 1500ram, with luke warm air coming out. my dad and i checked the heating core is hot enough that you cant even touch it, and the blower motor works fine. it blows out enough air but it is only luke warm. my dad thinks there is a stuck blend door and we dont know where all of them are we only know of the one behind the glove compartment, and that one is for recirculation
