I had a short in the wiring of the steering wheel. I suck at wiring, so a friend helped me. I also had a short to the radio in the steering wheel. I did do the work so I can help to tell you exactly where it was. The cruise not working ater a new clutch...I'm sorry. Hope someone else can help.

Could it be as simple as the cable going to the TB came off?

Found this on another forum. Maybe it will help you...

I had the same problem. It was a hole in the vacuum line that runs from the manifold under the air filter to the cruise control module thats under the battery. Battery corrosion crud had gotten onto the line causing a hole. Ordered a new line from the dealer for about $5. The dealer also showed me the above mentioned vacuum canister to add but I passed on it. After replacing the line all is well.
Does your cruise control fully operate? Mine would indicate on the dash that it was on but would not control speed until I replaced the line. Now my AC/Defroster vents no longer flip under acceleration
