Well the automatic trans went out on the truck and now I'm looking for the factory service manual to take apart the trans and fix it. I have fixed many 5 speed transmissions in the past and I believe I can do the same for the automatic. Does any one know where I can get a copy of factory Service manual for the Transmission or the whole truck? The truck is a 97 Dodge Ram 1500 4X4 with the 5.9 engine. I believe the trans is a RE46 auto.
Any info would be really greatly appreciated.

You can get an ATSG mannual for a 46re. They are very complete and show all the newest updates. Most trans shops can source them. If you can't find one post back and I'll get you one through work.
