the easy thing to do is just plug the intake side and slap a rag over the breather side. that would be a quick test of how it performs for you. it's a crude filter but it's better than nothing and cheeper while you decide if you want it or not.

i have a breather filter laying around in the garage ill use... its off a few of my old motors... its old and needs to be cleaned it should work though

Steve and Shott - I found a breather filter today at Autozone, Spectre part# 42859 $13 Plugs right in to the grommet. I got a 5/8" heater hose cap and put in on the air cleaner with a hose clamp. (couldn't find a 1/2" cap anywhere) Don't know if it helps or hurts things but for $20 I figured I would try it. Got ya'all a pic of what it looks like....

Did you put that where the PVC goes? I thought they were taking about putting it where the breather is. (On the other valve cover)

There wasn't a PCV valve on this side, just the breather fitting. I didn't look for a PCV, but it must be on the other side (drivers) This had the stock fitting and the hose went to the air cleaner. I know what a PCV valve is - and there wasn't one on this side at all.
