Relocate IAT Sensor?

Default Relocate IAT Sensor?

I already have a superchips programmer, would it do me any good to relocate my IAT? Where is my IAT is that the big sensor pluged into the drivers side of my Throttle Body?

if anyone knows what im talking about, i'd really like some input, cuz i was told that relocating the IAT sensor to the intake tube will make it read a colder air temp. Thus letting in more air to mix with the gas..... i heard u get any where from 5 to 10 hp, so it would be well worth doing if it would make a difference with my programmer... please let me know what u guys think

Your IAT is in the right-side of the intake manifold, the IAC is in the Throttle Body. I have heard it makes mpg worse and dosen't give to much power.

It does make your MPG a bit worse, but I hear you do get a very small power increase.

had mine relocated for a while. The only difference I saw was in milage. Lost about 1 mpg. swapped it back to the factory hole and it regained its milage.
