I got a code 37, Ram 1500 1995.My Haynes manual does not show a code 37 for my year with a gasoline engine. It does have a code 37 for the diesel engine it says its the torque converter solonid. Can anybody help me out with this.I also have an idleing problem warm or cold it just dies when I let off the gas.It doesn't do it all the time but it does it a lot, very annoying.

be shure to look at the note at the bottem of that page since you have a 95. do you have a tow package?

Thanks for the info I do have the towing package. My CEL has not came on with the code 37 I just noticed it while checking for a code that would make me have the idleing problem.

Those codes don't always throw the CE. Code 37 is the trans is getting to hot. So either its overheating or your temp sensor is just messed up. Also says it could be the TCC. Do you have any RPM fluctuation while driving? Like 200-300 RPM? That could be your TCC locking on unlocking.
