cant tell ya how hard it is.. although ive heard it can be trickey..... but kinds and types...pretty much TransGo is the only one that i know of that makes an actuall shift kit for the 46s and 48s but its a good start to help the life of the tranny ... also an aux tranny cooler will help out too

you didnt have to crack the valve body or anything did you? I think that is going to be my only worry if I have to get inside the valve body, then Im worried about where everyting goes!

S.O.B. Thats what I was afraid of, i dont really want to mess around with all that small ****. Do you think if I pulled my valve body and took it and the shift kit somewhere they would do it for me, or would they charge me an arm and a leg?

Not really sure.its not rocket science you just have to take your time and follow the instructions. do a little homework on it first.download the service manual and look at the trans. valve body section. thats what I did.the first time I pulled the valve body down I was so intimadated by it that I put it all back together without installing the kit.Than after about 6 months I said screw it ,and installed it....Just go for it.
