Hey..just wondering the BEST setup for a 2nd gen ram (2000 5.9L quadcab V8)
I was looking at Flowmaster American Thunder, and the Catback.. I want dual side exits.
Also..the best headers available? Ill be running the K&N FIPK..

i just got mine done on my 01 w/ a 5.9...i got magnaflow highflow cat w/ a single in dual out magnaflow muffler and it is dammnn loud...good throaty sound to it at idle as well im very happy w/ it and sounds differant compared to everyone and their mom who has flowmaster (although they sound good as well)..i hear that borla and gibson have a more mellow sound not as rowdy so its all on what kinda sound your lookin for

 

as far as pipes go and if your going to do split rear i would go and get a summit kit for, i think the pipes alone are like $80 and then get a flomaster muffler. i got the summit pipes with the muffler and i'm going to replace it once it gets warm. the muffler dosent sound bad it's just started to leak already.
