rim question

Default rim question

hey im running 35 x 12.50 on stock rims and getting slight rub on the inside when cutting wheel all the way and i ordered new wheels with 4.5" backspacing and ordering 38.5x 15 and was wondering how much would the backspacing help and would it rub on the outside now? someone please help wanna order tires next week

Well for the pics you need to put them on a site like www.photobucket.com Once you do that it gives you a link and you post it, then we click it and it shows pics

I'm thinking about getting 35x12.5 on factory wheels. How does it work? Any real problems since they're so wide and the wheels are so narrow?

no the tires fit rims good but like i said the tire rubs on the inside slightly and i got 8" of total lift but if u get the spacers probably wont rub it only rubs on the back

how wide is the stock rims? its safe to go like 5" over but thats all

I heard from other people that 4.5" backspacing will work on on 16 x 8 wheels, so i would assume it would work for 16 x 7 with 35's. im gonna try it in a month or two, so i would love to hear what you can find out.
