Default Alloy Wheels - Anything to keep 'em Shining?

Bought myself a set of Pro Comp Xtreme Polished Alloys 1023s. I've been running them for about a month now and they're getting pretty "weathered" - a bit dull with a little surface rust. Anybody know of a way to keep them nice and polished? Maybe a coating of some sorts? Thanks.

Mothers is the best polish that I have used so far. Give that a try.

Default Here's what I'd do.

A buddy of mine purchased some of that Flitz stuff advertised by Chip Foose and said it does a greast job of cleaning his rims up. I don't know as far as a coating to protect them; I'd probably use flat black spray paint! LOL

Bought some Mother's on the way home from work today, so we'll see how it works.

Zephyrs works wonders also, but I always polished my wheels by hand. they use it alot on big rigs. alot of elbow grease works wonders.

Shott, those 1023s are sweeeet!! They look mean. I bought the 16x8s. I hunted for a couple for a good set of wheels and was thinking about some AR wheels, but then I found the 1023s at TirePackage.com I've got them mounted to a set of 295/75R16 BFG ATs. I'll see if I can get some pics this weekend.

Yeah, after being out in the air, rain, snow, salt, & calcium they're a little bit dull (but they still look MINT!). And when you get real close and look at the nooks & cranies you notice some surface rust/powder. But you can rub it right of with just your finger. It's kinda like what you see on the barrel of a gun after being out in the rain all day. But I'll see if I can get some good pics before I cleean 'em and a pic after.
