so you really feel the diffrence with a fastman tb?? even on a 5.2? doesnt he just bore it out some more.
For the 5.2, the stock TB is already 50mm at the bottom, but it is 47mm at the top (cone shaped), plus it has "towers" that stick up above the barrels on top that restrict air flow into the barrels. Fastman bores it out to 50mm from top to bottom and removes those towers. He also puts in all new stainless hardware and brass blades. You also get all the hardware you need (gaskets, screws, etc...) to install it. It is a great upgrade, and as was already said, gains can be felt throughout the rpm range, and at all levels of throttle (not just full throttle). Improved throttle response is the best way to discribe it. I also saw my mileage improve by 2 mpg after install. I have read other report similar gains.
thats good.. i could really use some mpg gains. thats something im going to invest in then when i get my tax return back that and a hi-flow cat, dual flowmaster 40 series out the side!
