bucking?
ok.. got done moving the sister inlaw into her new apt. like 3 hours away..driving home it got really crappy out so i stopped to try to reposition my sand bags (weight) in the back .. back over the axle.. they slid forward and i hadnt got a chance to fix them
well they were frozen of course... well i figured i could go to the car wash when i got back into town and try to break them free (they use HOT water at the DIY wash here in town ..really nice) well that idea didnt work at all.. so after having like 10 mins left on the clock meter for the wash i started to spray the truck well the wifey stayed inside nice and cozy and all... well i sprayed the truck down and i always spray the underneat really well too to help with the salt... i had her pop the hood and i carefull and gently sprayed the inside of the engine bay while the motor was running (done it many times with no problems) well i was all done with that and i got back in the truck and i reved it up.. and it felt like it was misfiring... kinda running chopppy... i figured i just got something wet in there and needed to dry out.. so i put it in to drive... and it start poping harshly... real bad bucking.. got nervous and i pulled over and shut it down and started it back up..started fine.. the idle smoothed out and started to run better... no misfire symptoms... starting driving again and it felt like it was bucking agian really bad... realy hard... about 200 yards later it started to smooth out more and more... i cycled through all the gears.. 1st through OD and then stoped then went in R and then P and so on so forth.. by the time i got to the house it was running and driving just fine...it was so wierd
you guys think i just got some water in somewhere it dont need to be or i might have a problem that the water helped me to find out about... ive NEVER had this happed before..and ive always sprayed everything down with the water before and this is the first time....
i thinki just got the plug wires wet and helped them arc better against the metal...there already arcing a little bit .. they are getting changed tomorow... i was just wondeirng what you guys thought

That happens to me everytime I go to an auto or DIY carwash [:@] I think its just some water in the cap or one of the plugs. One time I got the undercarriage wash and as I was driving in and it stalled right with it spraying high presure water on the back of the engine compartment...that was fun. After a few seconds of freaking out the water turned off, and a few tries later I got it started and drive the rest of the way into the wash.
But it really does happen to me EVERY time, its like clockwork and it goes away after a few seconds of idleing or driving.

yea it might be the wires or the cap. i went through a big puddle the other day and it started doing that. your wires might just be shot. with my new msd's i can go almost to my hood in water and nothing happens
no kiddin...i was freakin out for about 100 yards till things settled down..felt like i was riding a bull...kinda scary..i was watching the hood ..maybe i could see one if my pistons shoot out like a friggen majic show or something...
