RE: Taking off the old emblems and putting new ones on?
I used a piece of trimmer line and a hair dryer to remove the emblems on my dodge. They came off pretty easy and most of the glue came off with them. I got the rest of the glue off with some wd 40. The whole process took about 30 minutes. The only problem was that the paint underneath the emblems was a lot darker than the rest of the truck, I guess from being out in the sun. Luckily, I was just removing the emblems so I could replace them with decals that match the decals on the tailgate of my truck, so I had a decal set to go over the darker paint.

What about some rubbing alchohol? That should take that glue off as well maybe... I use rubbing alchohol for my DOD stickers when its time to change them around.

. Heat gun or hair dryer. Then Goo-Gone. Careful not to leave the heat on the paint too long. Wash/wax the area after the goo gone. Same method for the gate stickers too, only easier then the raised emblems.
