Um.....2nd Gen Rrams don't have torsion bars. Not the 4x4 ones anyway.
It's an independant suspesion component. 1/2 ton 3rd Gens had them for a couple years, but have now gone back to a coil link suspsension I believe. Dakotas have them too. But not the 2nd gen Rams

im pretty sure they do... i just took one off my truck... sway bar maybe? same thing... unless a large bar that bolts to the front of the frame rails and then bolts to a bracket near the coils is called something else... maybe i dont know what its correctly called..all i know is a torsion bar... o damnit! i didnt mean a torsion bar as in the tiorsion bars ... now i remember what a torsion bar looks like
i see where i confused ya guys... i mean the sway link bar thats up front.... up front .... any one know what im talkin about?

hah- i see tani beat me to it. i typed that before tani had made his post but i took forever to hit 'ok' and it was already on there..... my bad didnt mean to needlessly repeat that
its incredible that it can make THAT big a difference. but if its easy enough to remove then i guess it can just be done when you know your goin off roading.
and just to double check- ive read a little bit about this before but all you have to do for this removal is literally take out a few bolts, right? no need to jack it up?
