Default Viper Remote starter

My wife has a viper remote starter and keyless entry combo. Probably from around 1998 or 99. The truck is a 98 and this thing seems pretty old. 2 buttons on the remote with a green LED in between. I want to know the programming mode for this if anyone can help. The reason is I want to get rid of the ignition controlled door locks on it. When you start it with the key, the doors lock, so needless to say we've been locked out a few times after starting it then getting out and closing the door.
Any help would be appreciated,

Thanks,

ither go to vipers website and look up your alarm or there should be an email them button somewhere or just go to your local alarm shop it has something to do with the hood pin or vallet switch and turning the ingition on and off but im not shure of the sequence but the alarm shop (a good one) will tell you how to do it or even do it for you free of charge

Careful messing with those things though, they are a pain in the *** to troubleshoot when something goes wrong [&:] Lots of safty shut offs and theft shut offs.

It's not an alarm system so I'm not too worried about that
