MSD Super Conductor 8.5 mm wires........Part #32189. Worked like a charm on mine. It says under the part # on the box "94-97 Dodge Ram Pickup - 318/360" but they worked out great on my '01.

yea its 32189 for red and 32183 for black. also i might have missled you the other day when i said i can go almost to my hood in water. i forgot to say that my wires are also wraped and grease and the distributor is sealer. but you should have a problem when you clean your engine like last time. also i looked it up and the 31309 is for a chrysler 79 and up 318, 340, 360. im guessing maybe its an LA motor or something? that was funny too because i had the MSD master catalog right infont of me.

the guys at MSD said that the Magnum 360 (LA) and the non magnum 360 have very LITTLE diffferences... mainly the studs on the cap are smaller on the LA's and the wires are like an inch shorter...(a few more but i wasnt paying attention).. apperantly they have been getting alot of calls about this too... hopefully they will get it worked out... orderd the 32189's lastnight and should be here tomorow and i can start wraping up the motor...kinda hoped it wouldnt take this long but it did...

ALSO... got the new headers in and on today... they actually were alot easier to put on..seams like the grinded out the chanels to help getting the wrench's in there better... took alot less time it did when i did it the first time.. i got pics today so il post everything when im done..

oh yea... headers are just replacements from the ones that were rusting... but the plenum is fixed... new wires cap rotor plugs gaped at .40 and MSD 6A box...also took off the vicous fan and went to elec and a 180deg thermo... got er running tonight and did a complete flush on it...oil and coolant to make sure i get out all the crap i might have got it in... everythhing is draining tonight and gonna refill replenish tomorow and do a few more small things to it...

oh .. i took off the valve covers to take a peak.. and come to find out.. like 6 of the studs/bolts that hold the valve cover down were loose..loose enough to take off with just my hands... kinda odd... kinda scary too..

idle smoothed out really well... wont know anymore untill tomorow when i go break everything in

I ordered the wrong set and got all of them to fit except the coil wire it was way too short. I bent the others together with a set of pliers so they would snap on tightly. They seem to work great so far although I just changed the coil wire. I called MSD and told them the length of the one I needed and they sent it to me. The first time I waited a month and no wire the second time I did get one but it took 2 weeks or so. I put it on after having the rest on for a while. They seem to work and I like them a lot although I do wish Summit would not list them for this truck.
