Here is a dyno chart from the Hypertech website. The power and torque numbers fall off after 4500 rpms. So, to me there is no point in revving it past the point of maximum power. The cam profile and induction system in these trucks are not designed to perform well at high rpms.

20dodgeram01, is your 3rd gear the best one out of the 5. I know that first in my 5 speed pulls it up to high rpms quick, but when I am actually racing, I like the get the rpms up to 3000 when I shift into 3rd. When I hit 3rd gear, I'm gone. Just wanting to know what your best gear is.

1st and 2nd are the best.. 3rd is alright if i can get 2nd gear up into the redline then shift so 3rd gear will be up around 3,000. if its not.. 3rd gear is a pig. but i just ordered the hypertech programmer.. maybe that will help :-D
