Default side view mirror

Can anyone tell me how to tighten up the side view mirrors (chrome) on a 1997 ram 2500?
They flop when I hit highway speeds.
I can't get the plastic cover off and I don't want to break it.

Thanks.

if there floping where they pivot in the mount then i dont think you can tighten it if the hole mount is lose take off the door panel and there will be some bolts in there to tighten. too take off the door palel take out the 3 screws (2 in handle 1 in top corner by the miror) then it should just pop off, there is a bunch of clips all the way around it to pull out. if the pivit is loose in the mount just change em out to 98-01 mirrors i think they look better anyways

The crome part doesn't come off. I know this cause one of mine is broke [:@] But mine wiggle a bit to going 70+. Dunno what you can do about it though.
