dude your t-stat is stuck open... dont even mess w/it. swap it and this time dont forget the air hole...

damn! what did that work out to mpg? Even at 12 mpg, I can get about 300 before a fillup...

assuming he has a 30 gallon tank, it comes out to 6.3 mpg

DAMN I thought the milage in my old chevy was horrible at 9 mpg

it should be 26, his is a short bed std cab if I recall correctly...

yea i got a 26gallon tank... went to napa and picked up a new tstat but theres no way im gonna be able to make to my uncles garage pull the old one put the new one in and try and burp it again and still make it to class on time tonight... im gonna wake up tomorow at like 5am when the wife wakes up and head over there... make sure i got enought time... im gonna put the truck up on ramps so the nose is in the air ..see if it will help getting hte air up to the front and top of the coolant system.
