what brand of gears to buy
so hows everbody tonight? Been a way for a while, and glad to be back on this site.
got a bit of cash saved and think i might drop in a new set of gears. Just want to know what brand, and or ratios are recommended around here. Thinking about 3.9? ratio with a locker in the back. gonna keep the same tire size,(2657017) so that the truck will haul A$$.
Also, anybody know what axles i may have? might be important when i order.
i have a 2000 1500QC 4X4sport
thanks

detriot and arb ive heard are the best for gears..... ratios it depends on what your lookin for... im assuming your trying to make that heavy *** 4x4 haul ***... so id stick with what your thinking.. especially keeping them smaller tires
you should have a coporate/chrysler 9.25 rear
and the front should be Dana 44

Any body else have any input? Or a preferred website to find these.
Really hope they will make this heavy truck move. isnt too slow right now, just want to be able to light up the tires whenever i want. ---My kids love that crap.

the offroads usually came with 4.10's thats whati got .. an 01 with the OR package it came with 4.10s' allowing me to run 33's or 35's
so yea if your runnin smaller tires youd want to change gears out if the tire size is permanant
