Default TIRE SIZES

I HAVE A 96 SLT WITH A 3" SUSP AND A 3" BODY LIFT RUNNING 16X12 RIMS. I AM WONDERING IF I CAN CLEAR 37-14-16 SWAMPERS WITHOUT RUBBING.

I have a friend who did a 4" suspension lift and is clearing 315/75R16 BFGs (34*12.5)...before he lifted it, he had just a 2.5" leveling kit and was rubbing on the same tires. BFG says that you should be able to clear 37*12.5 with 6" suspension. I have 285/75R16 tires on mine with it leveled and I could easily clear 35's.

I hope this helps.

I HAD 35 BFG'S WITH GUST 3" AND WAS RUBBING AT MAX TURN. THEN I INSTALLED THE 3" BODY LIFT. JUST WANDERING WHAT I CAN CLEAR NOW. THE 16X12 RIMS ARE GOING TO BE MY PROBLEM I THINK.

I would say that with those rims, your problem is the offset...
