I paid 290 something for mine years ago,but now summit racing is asking 375 for them. If your motor has the capability of using the extra cfm,a billet tb is the only way to go, on my truck with the hi flow heads,m1 manifold and supercharger, wot is interesting

The one in the pix in above posts is just a modified stock tb, the Holley billet 52mm tb is 1 piece solid block of machined aluminum that flows around 850 to 900 cfm.Billet pix below:

yup, that one is much prettier... however with the K&N intake tube sitting on it... you'd never know the difference visually. does anyone know how much the fastman 52mm's flow?

I am not sure what Fastmans is rated at as I could find no specs on his site.Hughes 50mm modded stock tb is rated at 728 cfm at 1.5" pressure which is the pressure most 4 barrel carbs are rated at if what I have read before is correct,Hughes 52mm billet flows 972 cfm which is a huge difference from a stock tb that has been modded. To get a stock tb to flow what a billet does you would have to remove so much material that you greatly increase cracking the tb just torqueing the bolts during installation, which is why the 1 piece billet is used for strength, not just looks
