Default Installed my Throttle Body This morning.

I got up early before work and put in my new TB. I have a 52mm Holley. Installation wasn't that bad. the unit didn't come with a gasket and the sensor on it was the wrong kind but I used my old sensor and the local parts store had the gasket so everything went back together OK. I looked all over my owners manual and the internet and I couldn't find the torque specs for the TB bolts so I just tightened down really carefully. I had a hard time telling a difference at first but now I am seeing that the initial jump off the line is definatly improved. Smoother acceleration is there too. I am really thinking that I will be able to tell more once I replace my headers (current headers have cracks and I'm losing almost all of my preasure) over all a good mod so far for the price. after I get my headers replaced I'll post more about gas mileage improvements.

Which headers do you have that are cracked. Where did they crack. Had a bad experience with some and just wanted to see if it is a similar issue...

I won the auction for 169.00 that is INCLUDING shipping. I checked on the size. they are officially 50mm... the bottom end is 52mm and the opening or the 'air horn' is 55 mm.

The headers are cracked in the header piping. They are pacesetter powder coated headers and the cracks are very small. They kept killing manifold gaskets so a few years back I put some racing gaskets in there and I guess something had to give. I plan on getting a set of gibson headers this stainless will serve me better I believe...

I believe Summit also has a Holley TB, but it is considerably more expensive.
