I have the black step bars on mine too. They are just starting to rust enough to be noticable after 5-6 years. The bars look fine. It's just at the ends under the truck and where the support bracket bolt goes. Should have sprayed some paint in the ends before I installed them. For $250 I can by another set for what the stainless costs.....
