Default rocker panels :: update April 7/06 (56k warning)

has anyone sprayed their rockers or do you just use the chrome style panels..

I want to give the truck a little protection on the panels and I was thinking of using the spray.. and then doing the underbody as well.

the spray may have a little texture to it., but at least it'll prevent rockchips on the lower part of the truck and with the calcium and salt that we get here in the winter... I think it would be better than chrome plates.

any comments would be helpful.

I have seen quite a few with the Rhino Liner sprayed on the side. There is a white Ram running around here with it (black) and it looks pretty good.

You could also go with some of the 3M protective film. Not sure where you would get it thogh.

the crome ones are more for show they dont protect the whole rocker panel and if you want it for peotection thell dull up fast (asuming you drive on a lot of gravel) id go with the spray on.. personall i dont like the looks of the 3M film ither its susposto be invisabe but i can tell its there and i think it looks goofey
