I just gave a buddy of mine my old set of 265/75/16 on the stock sport rims from my 97 sport to put on his 96 2WD. they fit fine. Look good, filled in the open space with no rubbing. Tired of them taking up space in garage.

I have a 4x4 Offroad edition with a 3" Skyjacker lift and 305's on aftermarket EAgle Alloy wheels and at full lock when I hit the brakes or a bump they will rub but are fine for the most part but no way in hell I'd put them on a stock height truck especially not a 2wd. I bet they don't turn more than half way on a 2wd. I could be wrong though.

Ive got a 98 4x4 quad cab no mods with 305 70 16 coopers for last 40000 miles and the only time it rubs is when going to full right or left and then not to bad but it never goes off road.

I ran Procomp X-terrains 305/70R16 on my 2500 V-10 dodge and had no rubbing issues at stock height.

FINALLY someone agrees with me about the mud rovers!! everytime someone posts about tires i recommend those and nobody seems to listen. if you get those youll be very happy with the look. i love mine! i dunno if you have already looked into the pricing and everything, but if not: their about 110 apiece for a 15 inch rim and about 130 apiece with a 16 inch rim. good luck and post some pics when you get them mounted!!

I was gonna suggest 245/75s, but since the 265s were tried....ok.
Socha, is yours OffRoad?
I have 285/75-16 on mine and they don't rub at all...

maybe a little. i think it varies. i have 33s (32.7 inches, actually) and they dont rub, but other people say they do. it depends on width and height.
