Default 305/70/16 fit without a lift? 2wd

before i go down to the tire place to test fit one, im wondering if anyone has tried it yet. i still am driving on my stock tires. 225/75/16.

i would doubt it. i guess its possible, but youll definately have rub. but my initial guess is no, it wont.

No...*MAYBE* with the spacers, but you will still have quite a bit of rubbing.

trade in your truck for a 4x4

no im just messin. just dont understand lifting a 4x2. good luck gettin those tires to fit somehow.

With a 3" in my 4x4 285/75's run on my control arms a bit...

i think the limit is the 265/70/16's

at least that's what i was told at the les schwab place

I have 265X75's on my 2wd, no problems at all, still have all kinds of room under there. Problem comes with taller tires they get wider so thats where your rubbing comes from.

Oh and to reply to the why lift a 2wd, cause it looks cooler and works for those who cant afford a 4x4. And yes you can go alot of places with a 2wd if you just watch what you are doing and have good tires. I dont do it, and dont plan on lifting mine, just happened to be the tires that came on it.
