i think i found a better find tani!!!! i got a 3 month old DT PRO FAB trac bar, used for 20 bux on ebay ... shippin is 30 LOL!!!!!!


awesome about the hypertech dude...i loved mine when i got it all dialed in!!!! thats odd about the tire size... it should ask something "has tire size changed from stock?" or something like that and you hit the Y button,, then it goes from like 10" to 60" etc etc you could call hypertech and ask them whats up... steve mentioned something of that nature with his that his tire recall didnt work either and he has a 2000 ..

 

nice find man. yea the tire thing isnt really important to me. i fixed my speedo already. i just moved the needle haha

yea im stoked about my snag... it sucks though b/c the fella dont have the moutning hardware.. ie bolts bushings and sleeves.. just the braket hiem joints and bar .. im gonna call DT and see if they can ship me out a set of the bolts etc etc

 

Ok I found your problem for the tire size thing (or at least something that says something about it)

Theres something stating - Tire Correction Size for 22.5" to 44 " (Dakota, 4wd, abs only)

Actually I was talking to Tani. The guy he got his hypertech from lives in Canastota.
I actually live 45 minutes north of Binghamton.

But that is a good score on the DT bar. DT offers a rebuild kit with a new heim, bushing and sleeve. I believe it is $45.

yea im trying to get a hold of DT b/c the bar that i got off of ebay is set up for a 4 1/2" to 6" lift and im only putting on a 2" spacer .. so i gotta find out if the actualy bar is longer or its just a different size drop braket... the guy that sold it to me on ebay told me that it was the 02001 Part # witch on the DT site it says its for a 4 1/2" to 6" lift.. but he had his on a 3" inch lifted 1500 with the desiel coils.

ill post back in a new thread of what DT says about what i got and what i need to do
either way im gonna ordre a rebuild kit for 45bux and if i need to get a shorter drop braket then ill ahve the longer one in case i go bigger on the lift

 

If he had 3" diesel coils than he was sitting at 5-6" of lift on his 1500.

DT uses the same bar just different bracket.

I have the 0-3 bar and bracket and Im running it with 6" no problems and room for more adjustment.
