Default Hey guys...!

well, did the 1st mod to the new truck this weekend... picked up a "hypertech" equivelant "edge Juice" module this weekend and did the install... all I can say is "holy carp" 30 minute install and boom 5 different power levels from 25 to 100 hp and so much torque I dont know what to do with it all... truck gets a leveling kit today, then rims & tires by the end of the week or early next week... (cant stand stock!)

lol, your right... i'm looking at an AFE intake kit with a "torque tube" for around $400 bux... just need to sell off some of the other mods from the old truck to pay for them

I found out friday that it is a 610 model (610 ft lbs tq) and it already has a mandrel bent 4" exhaust setup. I talked with a muffler shop already and for around $300 bux they can put on a magnaflow muffler and delete the cat. I dont know if that's pricey or what but they are totally into performance upgrades at this shop.

what i'm finding is I need to find the mods that will make the turbo spool up sooner. one of the trucks I drove was totaly modded and the turbo was basiclly spooling up just off idle and it screamed.

nope, no smoke stacks... dual exhaust will have to wait. It's already got a 4" mandrel bent setup now so the only thing that needs to be done to it would be a cat delete and better muffler. the priorities are towards the intake, leveling & tires/wheels...

anything to make the turbo spool up quicker

cant wait to seel how it sits with the new rims and tires...

610 ft lbs of tq? i bet the buttdyno is ALL sorts of happy now huh? id like to know how to make that turbo spool up faster ... i understand the concept of turbo lag...

you said delete the cat? diesels in cali dont have to conform to emmisions testing during inspections? i cant see hwo they could emision test a diesel anyway LOL...

its nice to see you till coming back to us 2gen's to say hi!!!! worried youd forget about us

lol, well the monitor adds some very usefull info to prevent turbo damage. the monitor only works with the juice module so you kinda have to get both [sm=icon_rock.gif]

we went into the hills last night and pulled up some pretty steep hills... damn thing took the steepes of them EASILY and accelerated IN OD on top of that. I also found out that the monitor has a 0-60 timer & a 1/4 mile timer... havent looked into how they work but the monitor is packed with some cool features.
