uummm... well fake ones usually are sold at walmart and look like hubcaps... not sure what you mean by "fake" many types of rims are sold on the aftermarket and can be converted to spinners with the manufactuer kits sold seperatly... and still not considerded fakes

Actually, there are spinner hubcabs and there are spinner rims.

The real spinners are high end wheels and the true originals are called Spreewells. They average about $12 grand a set.

As for alot of the knockoff wannabe's, they're cheaply made, not balanced properly so often times you will see some of the spinners not even rotating.

There are a couple of cheaper brands that make decent ones, but to be honest, unless your car is a show car....they really arent worth the hassle and they are a B***H to clean...

Over spring break i bought some spinners to put on my moms mercury villager (Soccer mom type mini van) and i cruised the strip in Panama City Beach... I was big pimpin yo!

I even had enough ***** to do some burn-outs with it hah!

Now i gotta get some for my truck, because we all know that cheap wal-mart hub cap spinner rims add at least 15 hp right???

(LOL)
