I had a magnaflow muffler on mine but I didnt really like it. Seemed to sound better on sound clips I heard than it actually did on my truck (excessive popping and resonance while cruising). I took it out and had a Flo Pro put in (www.flopro.com) and now I am happy with the sound. They are built to last and cheaper than both Flowmaster and Magnaflow. PerformancePeddler has good deals on both. Type in DTworld in the login box and get a little bit of a discount.

I am running a 40 series flowmaster on my 5.2 and I love the sound of it. Nice deep rumble at idle and around town, but no drone at highway speeds. I personally prefer this sound over magnaflow, but that is just my opinion. If you want to hea what my truck sounds like, check my two websites listed in my signature. There are clips of the truck idling as well as a couple of drive by clips. Hope this helps.
