looking for a good sounding exhaust for my 00 ram 5.2, any comments

For sound I would totally go Magnaflow, I have one and I have a video of the exhaust, lemme try to find it and I'll post it again.

I personally usually say Flowmaster for volume, Magnaflow for sound. That doesn't mean Flowmast has bad sound and magnaflow isn't loud though

 

run a search for the brand names... gibson flowmaster magnaflow youll get buttlaods of info and opinions on each... i got flows and i love it!!! but i may change to gibson for gigels

ive heard alot of ppl say that flowmaster rustes around the neck pretty bad,is that true

 

the casing doesnt rust .. bad... but the welds around the neck does... ive had mine for aoubt a year and no problems so far.. and im in the north east...

 

I got my exhaust for a hell of a deal. I left my can at the exhaust place in the morning and paid $200 for custom pipes, tips, and a Flowmaster 40 and the guy said the Flowmaster delivery truck should be there around 10 am and I could get my truck around noon. So I call at noon, delivery trucks not there, call at 1, trucks still not there, and same thing at 3. The guy finially said to come get it at 5 and he'd do something for me since the delivery truck never came (Keep in mind I already paid). So I got there and the guys kinda shaken his head, he said he had to put a Magnaflow on there. Then he said that the system that he did for me would have ran $340, but since like I said I had prepaid he had to lemme take it for the $200!! I was a happy camper

He said that they were actually loosing money on it and he called his boss just to tell him what happened and make sure it was ok!

 

truck sounds good for that price,steal if u ask me,what series of magnaflow do u have,that inpressed me

 

I have a magnaflow catback and the magnaflow cat kit, and its actually a little louder then the video that was posted. I will sometime have to get a clip. I really love the way my truck sounds
