Was going to pull my TB off and give it a thorough cleaning. I see some guys that do it at like every oil change. Does the gasket usually need to be replaced before re-installing it?

 

its generally a good idea...the gasket is light in material..ill admit that ive reused mine a few times untill it started to crack and break apart..i went to the stealership and bought them out of the gaskets they had..i got 5 sitting in the garage along with tstat gaskets too...always good to have backups...ill use a gasket twice maybe..if it looks in good shape after a good inspection... they run like 2 bux a peice..and i had a hard time getting them from a autobone or advanced
