Default Proper Tire Pressure

I have a 99 Ram 1500 5.2L that I recently bought used. Unfortunately the tire pressure chart was nowhere to be found. If someone could post a scan of the chart, or just PM me the right numbers Id be much obliged.

Don't forget to cross reference the vehicle's tire recommnedation with the tire's own PSI recommendations from the manufacturer. Just because the the door jam says nn psi does not mean that it is a good psi for that tire per the tire manufacturers recommendation. What is on the door jam is for the stock tire make and size. Aftermarket tire brands and sizes might have different requirements.

I always use the tire pressure on the sidewall.
After all, it is THEIR tire. Mine run 65 psi.

Usually the side wall marking is the max pressure. Not a good idea to run around with the max pressure all the time.

yeah i also do not recommend using the max press. What i do at da dealership i just put in 35 if stock tires n wheels. Other wise i look on the tire what is the max but i dont put that much in it.

Majority of the tires have 35 on the sidewall. My door jam sticker is for a 2500???? Someone had a few beers at work.

I run the tire max press(35) in the front and 32 empty in the rear. 35 loaded. Tire wear has been great.

I tried to knock it down to 45, but the tires just bulge to much.
Any pressure is safe up to the max allowed.
These are 10 ply rated, so the higher pressure is allowable, just as my semi tires run 100 psi.
At $1000 for 4 tires, I'll trust the manufacturer. I've seen too much!!!
Sorry, I don't trust ANY dealership mechanics.
Got our Neon back from the dealer after replacing one tire for broken belts and the statement said they inflated all the tires to proper pressure.Wife complained and sure enough, they had 18 psi in each wheel! I called to let 'em know to go buy a GOOD gauge. Don't trust the little cheapies at the parts store.

99 1500 4x4, my addendum to the owners manual says...35 all the way around for light load (two people and 200 Lbs of stuff), if continious speeds over 65 or max load add 10 PSI, that would be 45 PSI. 265/75x16. I run mine at 40.
