Default CD Changer

does anyone know the CD Changer P/N for a 1997 Ram 1500?

there are many on ebay, not specific for Ram, but I think some Chrysler branded Changers could be equivalent for a lot of vehicles...

thanks

mhhh, what about the wiring ? I mean audio input shouldn't be a problem (I don't like fm modulated) but the control wire and protocol should be the same...

Ryans, did you just plug the jvc to the stock radio? I also like the stock look. Could you give me the part number of you changer?

thanks

Unless you have a head unit/deck with a CD changer input and controls for it, The FM modulated style is all you can use.

I had a Kenwood changer in mine when I got it. It was FM style with the factory cassette deck. Put in an aftermarket CD player in place of the factory deck that can control a changer and took the changer out. It was under the drivers seat where an amp is now. I just change the CD when I want a different one. The changer is now in an older car that I did not want to cut the dash for a new radio.
