I got this thing off ebay ( i know, im a compulsive ebayer) and i cant for the life of me get it to fit properly. Is the back seat supposed to sit up so high? I really dont like the way it is under there?

Anyone with pics of theres with the seat up? And how did oyu mount yours?

Yea i mounted it down firing. I havent put my subs in yet because I dont like how it sits in there. As for amp, you have to find a place somewhere esle to mount it, other people have chosen the underneith of the front seats

I know in the Dakotas you had the ability to adjust the height of the rear folding seats in the clubcabs....not sure if yours is a clubcab or quadcab. You might take a look at that if you do own a clubcab.

As for the box, most of these will indeed cause your seat to sit slightly angled up. It's just the way they designed most of the boxes. Your seats should have brackets that will let you adjust them up/down but again...I dont know much about the Rams in that aspect.

It's worth a shot/looking into.

There is a thread on these in the middle of page 4, with several pics also. A couple sit fine and some have shimmed their seat..

I really dont like how they sit in under the seat, but is that ever friggin loud. I have 2 kenwood tornados with a RF punch 800 amp, and it is loud, that box is well made sound wise.

I does look like its hovering underneath the seat, kind looks weird, but who cares when its that loud

i have the thunderform box in my truck - its a quad cab and the amp is built into the box. I have it under my seat with no problem.. i have 1 screw in the box to hold it to the floor, and the seat locks in on top of it. I'll take a pic later tonight if i get a chance too, But it went in very easily. Sounds good too.
