Put on some new shocks on the rear of the ol' Doge in Jannuary. Shortly there after she started riding like a lumber wagon. I had installed Gabrial gst high pressure gas shocks. checked them over and the right shock was locked up solid. Swapped it out (under warranty) and all was good with the world. 3 days ago my noise and harsh ride returned. Same shock locked up soild again. This time I swapped them out with SkyJacker hydro 7000's. Sure seems to ride better and no noise. My question is if anyone has had a similar problem? CarQuest warrantied bolth shocks and were great to deal with. They sent in a form to Gabrial to check if this has been a common problem.

 

I know the front shocks are bad on the dodges, I have put rancho 5000s in my truck as well as my dads, and a few customers, and have had no complaints, I also put the ranchos in the back at the same time because my napa specials only lasted a year. In all my vehicles I had other brands and they wouldnt last or take the abuse, but then switched them over to Rancho and notice the difference, and they still keep taking a beating day in and out
