A friend of mine has a 2000 grand cheeoke with the 4.7 engine. It has the same tps as our rams(gas engine of course). After he took it in to 2 different dealers and spent over $1500.00 for a new computer and other "tests" he was told "oh thats normal". So we changed the tps as per the FAQ section of this forum and just like magic all the problems he was have were fixed. The converter locking and unlocking at curising speed was the most noticable. After looking over the bill he had gotten from the second dealer, I was amazed to see a $20.00 bottle of fuel injector cleaner. What a rip! I guess all the scanners and fancy lights still can't replace good info from others that are in the know. Thanks DF.
