more problems again any help?
Okay this thing as much as I love it has been a rotten PITA the past two months, first off I replaced the trans with a ramzilla trans upgrade, then doing a routine turn up it turned into a nightmare, ended up not only doing the tune up but replacing the plenum and intake gasket and the t-body gasket, I also routed the wires to the fsm update to keep from getting the knock and misfire that is prone.....I have also replaced the y-pipe and cat with a factory issue replacment compliments of my local dealer..... Now I have a very rough idle and it tries to stall out on me when I come to stops, it also seems to bog and chug, I reset the computer and cleared the codes, now my check engine light came back on the auto zone code reader say's:
trouble code obdII (alpha) P Code P0171 the pcm has determined that durring testing, the fuel system for bank 1 was two lean. (bank 1 identifies the location of cylinder #1, while bank 2 identifies the cylinders on the opposite bank) Recomended Fix: fuel pressure, maf sensor, oxegen sensor, ign misfire, vacume leak repair. fuel injector problem....
This really tells me alot!!! It can be one of many things and I hate to do put out all the bucks replacing it all.... any thoughts on what may be giving this code????
and it is still trying to stall and bog, also the idles surges up and down a bit when this happens... I never had the death flash done on this truck so its not that......... any help would be great or ideas where to begin.....
Thank Tim

when you replaced your cat did you also replace your front O2 sensor? if not it might be a good place to start. recheck all your wires to make sure one isnt loose on the distributor or spark plug. If you can get your fuel pressure tested on your fuel rail there is a black plug you can remove ( drivers side) and test it. if strong then your pumps ok. If your main problem is at idle see if your IAC is working properly as it works with your MAF sensor.
Sorry this post may have been a bit bakward-----I got the code before I did the tune up, intake and plenum gaskets etc.... the whole reason I did all that stuff, then I cleared the comp, after driving as soon as it gets up to full temp it runs like crap and bogs and wants to stall out at stops (same thing it was doing prior to all mentioned so everything I did was fruitless) and then the check engine light goes on and stays on til I clear it again giving the code mentioned above its the only code it throws out---all wires are in order and new, even took the set back and said they were no good and got another set replaced, did not help at all checked all vacume lines etc all good-----I did not however change the oxygen sensor or map nor did I change the IAC----I think I'll try the oxy sensor first see if thats the trouble, if not I think i'll send it in for diagnostic and let them tell me what the trouble really is..........
