You didnt really look hard a all, people sell the mopar tow hooks and brackets on ebay quite a bit. Those brackets above are pretty close to the ones that dodge sells with their trucks. And actually those are pictures of the ones I make and sell. Have fun making them its a pain. I made a set and then I just bought a set of mopar hooks and brackets and brought them into work so they could cut them out on the laser and bend them.

it gives me shivers every time i hear that..... wending stuff to your frame that has reverses in stress (dynamic load) is not recomended..1 you get a nice week spot (heat afected zone) 2 if its bolted with grade 5 bolts it gives the stress somewhere to go it will flex the bolts a bit (you wond see it but its there) rather then putting all that stress into your frame

Lol sorry about that. I just do not have many cash to go out and bye dodge tow hooks and finding the Chevy ones in the junk yard and making my own bracket was a lot cheaper. I have more time then $ and all the tools I need. Lol
So a grade 5 bolt is what I should use? Lol and I can agree with you welding to your frame is a bad idea for these

A Grade 8 bolt is the minum.

I get the brackets made and sell them for $55 shipped and you can mount any hook you want to them. That would still save you $100 or more

Save yourself the time of trying to make them yourself and the money of buying the entire mopar kit (its usually like $150-$200), and just get the brackets thru GODRAMIT....then get the chevy tow hooks and you are ready to rock....u can do the entire thing for under $80 easily, hardware, hooks and all....that's what im doing at least. you save yourself like $100 and alot of headaches.

-note: you cannot get JUST the brackets thru mopar, i checked you must purchase the whole damn kit.
