Default Exhaust goes on tommorow.

Tommorow night I will be installing my Summit exhaust kit. I know this isn't a good thing but at this point I have to say that I am already not impressed. I really doubt if the money I have saved is going to be worth the headache I am gonna have tommorow. Oh well I'll let you know how it looks and turns out. On a lighter note after all the exhaust is over I am moving on to a CAI, gonna swap to the 3923's and then save for a programmer. Does it matter either way whether I get a Superchips or a Hypertech?

I think that the Superchips requires 93 Octane fuel but the hypertech doesn't.

I'm curious. What are you not impressed with? Which kit did you get?

I have the same questions. What about the kit do you not like? Is it the generic dual outlet setup they sell on their site?

Superchips has different settings. You can use regular 87 octane, or use 93 octane and get more power. I like superchips more than hypertech.

well summit customer service told me when i ordered the kit that a flowmaster would fit right in in place of their turbo muffler that comes with the kit, but the pipes were quite smaller than the outlets on the flowmaster and i ended up using an impact to tighten the clamps enought to hold the pipe in there i dont know much about exhaust but i didnt think it would have to be like that anyway i will let you guys know tonight how well it went together and how well it fits my truck it is the system for a 94-01 dodge truck too
