fuel pump problum fixed
I found the problum with my pump, a mouse needed some extra minerals in his diat. he chued through the wire right next to the conector that is located behind the left fender well on the rear side. so I soldered the wire back together and put heat shrink on it. Good as as new. check out the pic.
thanks for the help everybody!

My wife's Z-34 had the same problem when it was new. Had it 6 months and a squirrel or mouse was staying warm on the engine and got hungry. Took the dealer all day to find. The warranty didn't cover that one. Homeowners did though.
OUCH,
Yeah I'm having problems right now with squirrels in the attic chewing through my wiring in the house, kinda sucks when you flip a switch and nothing happens, you change the bulbs, check the breakers, then hear this chattering sound in the attic... went up to the attic, saw the squirrel, saw the wire it chewed through, and then saw the squirrel exit through one of the eave vents...
Needless to say i fixed that, fixed the wiring (running new wire in an old house... fun) and now after hearing about that problem, I'm worried about my own vehicle...
DAMN SQUIRRELS!
