The MSD stuff made it. Thanks.
I take it from reading the MSD tech forum and the fact it wasn't opened, the tach adapter wasn't needed.

I spent a while searching through the MSD websites tech forum. There was a specific question for my year model range and the tech said no. Then again time will tell. Not sure if there are any changes from 97 to 2001.

2002 Dodge Dakota (wifes)
the wifes has the 3.9L in it. it is pretty slow to accelerate but holds the speed ok I guess. Irks her that I get better milage than her in the new truck
the tach adapter will not affect milage or performance, it is there to "fix" the tach signal only. that's 1 reason why I never was too motivated to install it. It's more of a nusiance (sp?) than anything...
again, it does not light the CE light...

Steve - Do you happen to have info on the leveling kit? Before and After pics? I joined you on the dark side.... traded the '98 gasser in on a '06 CTD 3 days ago. Man, the difference in power. A bit sooner than expected, but will work better for towing the Jeeps.

looks much better after the kit was installed...
forgot to mention... I think the kit was a revtech?? cost about $150 otd and took me about 3.5~4.0 hours to install. the install instructions tell you to disconnect the tracbar which is crap... I did it w/o having to do that. I used a couple of jacks to push the axle up/down to get the clearance I needed to fit the spring back in...
Wow! I didn't think it could get much better than the 2000 that you have now but I have to say the new truck looks awesome too! I noticed in one of the other threads that you were planning to sell the 2000, how much do you think you will be able to get for it? I sure hate to see you let that thing go, it is such a nice truck.
