My bad guys, I figured as long as that thread had been near the top of the forum that pretty much everyone had seen it. No more jokes then.

Jnellydodge- I had no intention of making you look stupid, I was just poking a little fun at the electric supercharger, something that is IMO very stupid. So, I'm gonna do the right thing and say I'm sorry.

i know i was j/k toooooo dont apologize!!!......not ur fault i cant figure crap out......keep the jokes comeing Silver!!!!!...and after viewing that thread, that electric super...it is about as dumb as a bag of rocks.

I'm glad to hear it but I didn't want to **** anyone off. I am really new to this forum and I just want friends, no enemies, so I don't to give the wrong impression or step on any toes since I am sure I'll have lots of questions in the future. Glad you enjoyed/saw the humor in it though, doesn't make me feel like such an *** now.

line lock? please explain.. sounds fun
A line lock is a device that's installed in your brake system. It locks up your front brakes but allows your rear tires to spin...so you can do huge smokey burn-outs. Then you flip a switch to release it and away you go. There was a video floating around on the boards earlier this month of a dually diesel doing a burn-out. I'm betting he was using a line lock to do that. They're primarily used in drag racing.

As for burnouts, I just punch it. I can smoke the 33" generic ATs I have on the back pretty good from a stop (dry & wet)..and come to think of it, from a roll as well [8D]

10 Cylinders can be lots o fun

Hmm... I want to do a big smokey right now!!! like i just want to see how much smoke i could get out of this truck... Unfortunatly new michilans (which didnt cost me a thing) are hella expensive...

Does anyone notice that when they take off on a turn (like, taking off normally) they chirp/spin tires? I swear i have an open differential in this truck (its not limited slip, the build sheet never listed anything about it) and everytime i punch it a LITTLE to get across an intersection or out of the parking lot i burn them up [:@]

I should get some line locks, just for days when im pissed off and someone behind me is ****ing with me...

Oh yeah, and funny comment about the hitch in the radiator... I almost had the nerve one day to throw it in reverse on this HONDA... lol

Well I have dumped clutch before I tore the input shaft out so I don't do that stupid stuff any more. Usually I will hold brake and gas and slowly let the clutch out and watch the smoke roll. Its fun but I don't do it much unless I have a buddy with me or someone says a dodge can't spin a tire. And when they say that, it gets to me, so I have to. Lol.
