well when mine starts falling off its gonna come off till then i think ill heave it there. should find RM_indy i think he has taken it off of his 96 indy ram for weight reduction, half to ask if he had any problems

yea but his isnt a DD thats stuck in gridlock city driving and whatnot.... i would assume a few passes amonth down the 1/4 would be just fine but day in day out heat being applied to the underside i qould wreckin it could start some damage after a bit... then again i have my exhaust blowing right at the backside of my bumber and its been fine for 6 monts lol

not sure...i would take it off..since i plan on repainting it eventually lol



iamjonnyr-------i bet ya some 3M indunstrial double sided tape would hold that biotch up there good-n-tight another option you could play with and test out

I yanked mine off over a year ago and have had no problems. I had both the 195 t-stat and the 180 t-stats in there to and still had no issues with the hood & paint.

rip it out.

It only costs $60 for a new one from the dealership. Put a new on on.

Mine is doing the SAME EXACT THING... It sucks, but i just said **** it, i dont go under there as much as i should, and no one else can see it... so yeah...

YANK IT OFF!!!!! I don't have one on mine and I haven't had any problems with the hood.
