Default Gasket cleaning

Changed Tstat on my truck yesterday. Gasket was leaking I was going to change it anyway when I get my Hypertech but now its done. Anyway try to clean off old gasket material way down in that little space between the Alt and Compressor I found and old piece of wire braided hose. Used it to clean off the old gasket material. It works great for those hard to reach areas.

When doing engine work this tool has saved me more time than any other short of an air compressor. It is a pos Dewalt 3/8 drill motor with a 2" brass wire brush.

Gotta be careful if you use wirebrushes, you can scratch the surface pretty good and the gaskets will leak a little bit!
