Thats my good buddy Jim that I met on DTO about 5-6yrs ago. His Indy Ram (not a Dak) is bagged with a wicked 408. Last year 3 of us went nuts on our trucks. Jansey has an older 94(?) Dak and stroked his 318 to 349 (5.7 lol) He ran a 12.92, I added the blower to my mild 360 and ran a 12.91, Jims 408 was already stout but he went with the KRC236 and ran a 12.87. Pretty funny how close we all ended up.
This year look out!
Jims got a new bottom end, HUGE solid lifter cam now and MP alum heads with 208s and stageIII porting
Jansey pulled his 349, its going into Poisonus's QC Ram
Jansey iwill be going with a 390 stroker with Jims RT202 stageII heads
Im putting a 408 togetther, similar cam to what Jim ran last year but more lift and cut on a 114 for the blower plus stageIII Eddy alum 202s (extra exh work)

Figuring that Jansey and I will both be running 11s, Jim will probably be low/mid 12s (hes looking to run 150shot also) & with the bottle be door to door with Jansey and myself
Not sure where Poisonus will end up, Porbably mid/hi 14s I suspect.

id like to eventually pick up an SS/T for cheap and turn it into a dragger, obviosuly in the future after the wife and i buy a house and get my garage/shop going

i never used to be interested in dragging anything except in the middle of the night trying to beat my buddies on a backroad somewhere... but it really looks like a buttload of fun

 

Tee Hee , I'm converting my DD truck to a mild racer/DD . You know, put modifications on it worthy of going on the strip, but still able to DD. And worthy of showing off at shows... Yeah... It's gonna be weird but I'm in college lol...

I'd like to be running 14's-13's with this truck if ya know what i mean
