I got to believe it's more than 50% over time. The equipment is 3 grand. I figure overnight shipping cost him ~$30. So 400 bucks a pop pays for the drbiii real quick. I don't know why people prefer one over the other. They are the same. maybe it's the color of the programmer.

Because of the way they mass market thier product, there are certain things they will not do for liability reasons and because they have to make sure that thier stuff will work with any vehicle, whether stock or modded to the nines.
It's the liability thing. The drive train on these trucks leave alot to be desired to say the least. If they change shift points and remove tq management and trannys and shafts start imploding, they will get sued. Likewise this is why their timing/fuel tables aren't as agressive as they could be because they are marketing to dd's. If a bunch of people start failing emissions tests, they will sue.
